Although we had a lovely afternoon tea there was a few small things that let the experience down slightly. The jam amd cream portion for scone was really minimal, only really enough for one scone - as we had already asked for an extra tea bag in our pot of tea for 2 (only one in to start with) we felt awkward asking for more jam and cream. The quiche was literally a mouthful in size so please don't expect too much on the savouries. Overall the sandwiches, scones and very small cakes were enough but I've had afternoon teas which are alot more generous. We did really enjoy it but attention to some of the smaller detail is perhaps needed. We were served by the gentleman manning the bar so it didn't feel very attentive in terms of service, I had to get up several times to ask for things. The surroundings are beautiful and it truly is a lovely place for an afternoon tea. Would be good to see the savoury portions improved upon and a better amount of jam and cream for scones - particular as the scones were delicious!

I went into a room that I booked that had a terrible odour of put out cigarettes. It was disgusting. However, going down to reception and telling them and they put me in a super lovely room and I was REALLY greatful the staff were brilliant. Other than that it's perfect place to stay!

We had a voucher to use, so decided on afternoon tea at colwick hall Nottingham, didn't disappoint. Really nice, Sam the lady that served us was excellent. Looked after us well. I've never had an afternoon tea that served a little cup of soup with a mini quiche, really nice. Great idea. Food was lovely. Plenty of tea and coffee too. Would definitely recommend.

A friend and I enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at Colwick Hall. It was a pretty rainy January day so we couldn’t enjoy any of the outside area but it was lovely in the pretty dining area. The food was a good mixture of savoury and sweet which we appreciated and the service was excellent.

Beautiful restaurant, we went for afternoon tea. All the staff were amazing, really helpful lady on reception gave us some directions for walks as we were a bit early. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and welcoming. Delicious afternoon tea great selection of sandwiches and the scones....? Oh they were awesome I've never had scones like them. A most enjoyable break from our travels in a delightful building with a lovely lunch. A big thank you to you all.
